Although I give this book only two stars, I don’t want to give it the tag ‘don’t bother’, because I think this book has some­thing to offer for some peo­ple. And I have given the book the tag ‘humor’, although for me this wasn’t entirely true. But still, I do see the attrac­tion of the book, it just wasn’t for me. I think for me the prob­lem is that the book/story takes itself too seri­ously. You can make a satire on the cur­rent soci­ety and cul­ture, but then you have to take it to extremes to make it really work. And although it is absurd that being f*t is ille­gal, it wasn’t far-fetched enough, for me anyway.
